The Wilhelm STOLLE GmbH is for more than 100 years a family owned company with a long tradition as machine factory and iron-foundry. The history of the company, founded in 1898, is therefore an exact reflection of the German industry in the past century, shaped by the recoils of the times after the two world wars and the industrial crisis, but also by the devotion and the energy, to steadily further develop the company and its products in quality, capacity and manufacturing line.

Today STOLLE is the market leader for the production of casting plates in Europe. These casting plates are mainly used by the whole automotive-, machine tool-, airplane-, train- and measuring industry.

The STOLLE product palette today includes several different product groups: Floor plates, plates for Test Rigs, Surface plates, Straightening plates, Angle plates as well as any kind of special design made of cast iron.

Cast iron and machining from one hand. The company STOLLE understands herself in both areas as absolute specialist. New melting- and shaping procedures allow the production of stress reduced cast iron. New CNC driven manufacturing centers combined with our know-how opens up a completely new dimension of accuracy.

Due to new machining technology, surfaces can optically be machined in a more attractive way, which is especially recommended for engineering design centers.

During the last years STOLLE developed more and more towards a turn-key system integrator. Planning, design, construction and integration becomes more and more scope of supply to our customers in Europe and Overseas.
