THE SOFIA PROJECT

We offer turnkey design and installation of Seismic masses including anchor frame construction, vibration isolation and cast iron base plates. We perform static and dynamic calculation of seismic masses and prepare all necessary architectural drawings for the construction firms. We also supervise during the build-phase of the seismic mass. The size of seismic masses can be reduced dramatically by using air spring suspension systems. That means virtually no harmful vibration in the surrounding area and therefore reduced noise levels, save testing environment especially for NVH tests and no alterations of neighboring test results.

Natural frequencies as low as 0.8 Hz can be achieved by using additional air volumes. A 3-point control unit assures that the seismic mass is leveled even with off-center loads.

We give a 5 year warranty on our air springs which guarantees undisturbed and maintanace free operation.
